Border Collie Rescue Ontario is a a non-profit volunteer based organization dedicated to the welfare of the Border Collie. BCRO depends on donations, adoption fees and fundraising to provide for the dogs in the foster care.
- To rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Border Collies that have been abandoned, neglected or no longer able to remain in their current home.
- To place adoptable dogs into appropriate homes making the best match possible for the dog and adopter.
- To educate the public on the characteristics and needs of the breed. To commit and promote the spay and neuter of all dogs that come into our care.
- To provide advice and contact information to Border Collie owners when needed, encouraging them to work with and keep their dogs.

Please fill out the adoption application and contact Border Collie Rescue Ontario for more information. A BCRO representative will review your application and contact you to discuss finding the right dog for you. Although the application is long, it is important to give as much information as possible to help make a suitable match for both dog and adopters. Adoption fee is $300. All dogs are altered (spayed/neutered) and up-to-date on shots prior to placement.
