Cranbrooke Dr | Bathurst St + Lawrence Ave W
The Woburn Park off-leash dog walking area is located off Bathurst Street at the end of Cranbrooke Drive. Cranbrooke Drive is a cul-de-sac just North of Lawrence Avenue West. There is a small pay-for-use parking lot also on Cranbrooke, just before the dog park but this park wouldn`t be classified as a destination at least not for dogs.
The off-leash area is utilitarian. It has a single double-gated entrance and, with the exception of the gate, some of the highest fencing seen in a dog park. The ground cover is small peastone-sized gravel.
What to Expect
This park is used by locals and the occasional dog walker. It’s perfect for a quick pit stop and some dog socialization if there are other pets in the park.
What’s Not to Like
This park is small and has really nothing in the way of a view. The peastone gravel is functional and makes picking up after one’s dog simple, but our experience is that parks with this ground cover tend to be quite smelly in hot or humid weather.
